Spotlight on Zoe Touhey

19 November 2021

This month we shine the spotlight on Zoe Touhey, head of Residential Conveyancing West, and she told us a little bit about herself.

Where do you live?

I live in Gloucester Quays with my two lovely labradoodles Aoife and Noah.

How long have you been a lawyer?

Five years this time round! Having qualified and practised for two years, I took a break to try primary school teaching but soon found it wasn’t for me and happily returned to the world of law!

What type of legal advice do you provide and to what sort of clients?

I give advice on any type of residential property transaction – from severing a title to purchasing a portfolio. I also give advice on selling development properties to private clients and companies.

What’s your most memorable outcome for a client and why?

That would be when I completed the purchase of a property shortly after my clients gave birth to their first child. I was the first person to see their new-born daughter!

What is your number one tip for clients?

It’s ideal for clients to ensure all their paperwork is completed as accurately as possible. That’s because any answers, comments and information they provide may be relied upon by third parties.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I’ve got a wide range of interests which range from wing walking for charity to walking my dogs – and anything in between!
