Why choose me
I became a corporate lawyer because I genuinely enjoy working with businesses, business owners, shareholders and investors to help them reach their goals. There’s something very satisfying about guiding clients through complex corporate deals, governance issues, and company law – breaking things down into clear, practical advice that actually makes sense.
Working closely with businesses has helped me develop a strong commercial mindset, and I always make sure the advice I give fits my clients’ strategies and objectives. I’m very client-focused and I like to deliver solutions that are practical and business-savvy – I’m definitely not your typical “stuffy” corporate lawyer.
I advise on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations. One area I’m particularly passionate about is the health and social care sector. I have a strong track record of working with healthcare real estate investors, investment managers backing independent health and social care businesses, private equity-backed care home operators, GP groups selling large medical practices, and many owners and operators within the sector.
When I’m not working, I spend as much time as I can with my family. I also enjoy going to gigs, concerts and festivals and discovering new – and old – music. I’m both a golfer and a cyclist and I love cooking, travelling and trying new foods.

Questions my clients ask me
The answer will vary depending on the transaction. There is no single definitive answer, but it’s definitely the question I get asked most! The business sale or purchase process usually takes three to six months – depending on the unique aspects of the deal – but provided all parties work towards completion in an efficient and collaborative way we can shorten the timeline if necessary. We will also give you an estimated timeline at the beginning of any deal process.
I enjoyed studying law at A Level and carried that through into a law degree. I discovered along the way how much I enjoy explaining complex issues and concepts to people in a way which makes them easy to understand, so it made sense to pursue a career in the legal profession.
