Why choose me
I advise global corporate clients, SMEs and private individuals on all aspects of immigration law, including the Points Based System, Sponsor Licence applications, including audits, and Right to Work best practice.
I also work closely with corporate global mobility and HR teams to facilitate UK bound transfers and in-country applications.
I am driven to find solutions for clients and discuss all possible options, especially when time-critical moves are on the horizon.
My experience includes:
- Being client relationship manager for household-name multinational organisations and acting as main point of contact for all UK bound employees.
- Successfully supporting a high net worth individual with an application for EUSS as a qualifying family member of British national (Surinder Singh).
- Successfully navigating and advising a corporate client with a complex sole responsibility-skilled worker dependent application for stepchildren of skilled worker employee.
- Successfully making representations for a spouse application following two refusals under EUSS and incidents of illegal working in the UK during previous UK stay.
- Completing a time-critical application as a Skilled Worker for the president of a global corporation relocation from Russia to UK following the invasion of Ukraine.
- Successfully making representations on behalf of a logistics company, reducing a fine substantially which they received for migrants attempting to enter as clandestines in company vehicles from France.
I was previously employed by UK Border Force as a Senior Border Force officer. I served as a Chief Immigration Officer at the Midlands Border Intelligence Unit and was involved in both strategic and tactical planning of intelligence-led operations. I also have extensive management and organisational skills leading a multi-functional team on the frontline at Birmingham Airport in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This unique combination allows me to advise clients with the practical insight they require alongside extensive knowledge and experience of working within the Immigration Rules.
I run or walk each day, whether it be 2k or 10k. I’m originally from the Isle of Wight, and weekends on the Island walking my six-year-old Cocker Spaniel are simply the best.
